PORTLAND POZZOLANA CEMENT
-Concrete exposed to sulfate attack.
-Mass concrete or where the heat of hydration needs to be reduced with respect to the same content of another cement type*1.
-Concrete made with reactive or potentially reactive aggregates to cement alkalis*2.
-General-purpose concrete for construction use.
*1The amount of heat generated by CPP40 (HRS) must be verified by calorimetric testing.
*2 The effectiveness of CPP40 (HRS, LHH) in mitigating aggregate reactivity must be verified according to IRAM1531 and 1512 standards.
Always use materials that comply with the current IRAM standards.
Always measure materials by weight and ensure proper preparation, transportation, placement, and curing, respecting IRAM standard 1666 and CIRSOC regulation 201 in force.
Hydraulic binder containing Portland clinker as a necessary constituent, small amounts of calcium sulfate and 20 % to 50 % pozzolana.
Pozzolana is a siliceous or siliceous-aluminous material which, in itself, has little or no cementitious value, but, if finely divided and in the presence of moisture, it will react chemically with calcium hydroxide at ordinary temperature to form compounds with cementitious properties. Its incorporation into cement significantly modifies several of its properties.
