CAH40 (LHH, HRS, AAR)

SLAG CEMENT

-Mass concrete or where the heat of hydration needs to be reduced with respect to the same content of cement without the special LHH property.
-Concrete made with reactive or potentially reactive aggregates to cement alkalis.
-Concrete exposed to sulfate attack.
-Concrete with high design strength for more than 28 days.
-Concrete exposed to chloride attack.
-General-purpose concrete for construction use.

Always use materials that comply with the current IRAM standards.

Always measure materials by weight and ensure proper preparation, transportation, placement, and curing, respecting IRAM standard 1666 and CIRSOC regulation 201 in force.

Hydraulic binder containing Portland clinker as a necessary constituent, small amounts of calcium sulfate and 35% to 75% mass of granulated blast furnace slag.

Blast furnace slag is a byproduct of the steel industry that, when combined with Portland cement, acts as a supplementary cementitious material. Its incorporation into cement significantly modifies several of its properties.

AA R (Alkali-aggregate reaction resistance)

HRS (Highly resistant to sulfates)

LHH (Low heat of hydration)
